Last presidential election cycle, Omaha and District one made a huge effort to get out the democratic vote. This was to change that one electoral collage vote in the state to a Democratic vote for Harris-Waltz

Now the largely GOP legislature in Lincoln, the state capital
Wants to once-and-for-all eliminate the possibility of any unique votes to the electoral college. To make the Nebraska State electoral college a “winner take all” system without independent voting by those constituents.
